<p>Er war vom 23. September 2015 bis zum 9. Juli 2019 Minister für <a href="Gesundheit" title="Gesundheit">Gesundheit</a> im <a href="Kabinett_Alexis_Tsipras_II" title="Kabinett Alexis Tsipras II">Kabinett Alexis Tsipras II</a> und ist seit dem gesundheitspolitischer Sprecher von SYRIZA im griechischen Parlament.
